Policy Officer at European Commission

    Aristotelis Tzafalias is a Policy Officer in the Unit 'Cybersecurity and Digital Privacy Policy' within the European Commission in Brussels (Directorate-General Communication Networks, Content and Technology) which he joined in 2012. His work is focused on the implementation of the European Cybersecurity Certification Framework and the Cybersecurity Act. Previously he has been involved in many other aspects of the European Commission’s such as the Computer Security Incident Response Teams Network, the European Blueprint for coordinated response to large-scale cross-border cybersecurity incidents and crises. Aristotle also works closely with other Commission Services and the European External Action Service on cybersecurity policy in areas such as financial services, trade, cybercrime and law enforcement.
